New Cycling Holidays from 2021

At Lycian Way Holidays we are pleased to offer some great new cycling holidays for 2021. In September and October of 2020 we liaised with some local cycling groups. Together we researched the best routes in southwest Turkey suitable for either mountain biking or road cycling.

We also often get asked if you can cycle on The Lycian Way hiking route?

The answer is that parts of the route can be cycled. This gave us the idea to put together a ‘Hike & Bike’ itinerary on the route. We took a local group of cyclists on this itinerary in September 2021. Everyone loved it. Click here for more information. A local newspaper also ran an article on the trip:

The other cycling holiday itineraries we have put together are based around a single location. From here you will do popular day cycles either on mountain or road bikes, depending on your preference. This is a fabulous chance to explore this beautiful region, rich in history and culture. Your accommodation will be in a modern boutique hotel, ideally situated in the old quarter of the town. Routes will be suitable for most standards of cyclists.

We will also shortly be posting some group dates for single centre mountain biking holidays in Spring and Autumn 2021 perfectly suited for solo travellers. Details can be found here.

Would you like to be part of a small biking group? Perhaps you have a group already that would be interested? Either way please get in touch.

All our cycling holidays will include airport transfers.  Your accommodation will be in our hand-picked hotels and guesthouses. We value traditional Turkish hospitality from all our accommodation providers. Breakfasts are included every morning. All rooms have ensuite bathroom facilities. Bike hire is usually included in our prices. Our bike hire provider has a range of good quality, nearly new bikes and we can also arrange e-bikes on request. All you need for a wonderful cycling holiday.
